With Broadband over mobile devices becoming more of a rage, and to accomodate all the new media applications as well as wireless television. International mobile carriers are dropping thier mobile broadband rates signifigantly.
Vodafone, a New Zeland wireless provider, recently announced a 66% drop in thier mobile data rates - from $ 149-00 per GB to $ 49-00 per GB.
T-Mobile, the german owned wireless service provider, also announced a 2 GB data offering at 8.50 pounds. While still not as cheap as fixed line services it does make for a much more affordable wireless broadband option. T-Mobile is trying to undercut the UK market as customers will not need to pay a fixed phone line.
