Japan leads way for mobile TV

Last week in majors cities across Japan cellular users equipped with special receivers have been using this new technology that does not use wireless internet to receive broadcasts. Cingular has been experimenting with internet TV, but only over internet connections. While Nokia is still testing thier technology in Germany and France. However Japan’s mobile TV service is the most innovative to date, and promises related entertainment downloads and media that should be widely accepted from surely the most mobile savvy parts of the world.
