Motorola SLVR L9 11.5MM Thin Music Phone
 3G , EDGE , GSM , Motorola , Multimedia-Phone , Slvr

What better to follow up two RIZR phones than the new Motorola SLVR L9. This is a quad-band GSM music handset that fuses previous SLVR design with the KRAZR mirror reflective finish. Besides looks the SLVR L9 packs a nice punch with 2GB of storage (with microSD card) for music, games, ringtones, and yes movies. The high quality TFT screen should by capable of showing a decent flick while you’re on the road or in the air. Without a microSD (TransFlash) memory card internal storage holds 20MB, so with this phone you are definatly going to want that upgrade.
Additional Features of the Motorola SLVR L9:
- 2.0 Megapixel camera
- EDGE / Bluetooth 2.0 technology
- USB 1.1, PC Sync, MotoSyncâ„¢
- Polyphonic / MP3 ringtones
- 256K colors TFT screen
- Music Player compatible with MP3/AAC/AAC+/AAC+ enhanced/ AMR/ WAV + FM Radio
Also included in the SLVR L9 is new technology called CrystalTalk, which will help aid in adapting the phone to the level of ambient noise surrounding you. Motorola is expecting to launch the SLVR L9 in early Q2 of 2007, and mobiletracker is skeptical on whether it will reach the US. This is based on the phone having class 10 EDGE, which means it favors a European release. However I think we will see variants of the redesigned SLVR popping up on shelves in Verizon and Cingular stores not so far in the future.

I agree, there is something about it that seems different from the other SLVR designs. I like the black finish, and the features seem really great.
