To me it looks like these images could very well be real. Not because I am an expert in photoshopping, but I know the history of these two companies fairly well. And this phone would atleast appear to me as a very concise strategy to compete with the Apple iphone. From what I understand the phone will have a custom built google OS, that will basically combine all the great things from the Google Labs suite such as; gmail, google maps, gtalk, etc. Not only that but it will feature something Apple left out on the iPhone, GPS tracking with pinpoint navigation in google maps. Rumors also lead us to believe there will be no on-board storage for the device. Which could be benificial in an instant network transfer scenario, but might not serve practical for multimedia. I love Google and Apple, and think this sort of competition is just what the industry needs.
