Motorola KRZR Already Breaking Sales Records
 Camera-Phone , EV-DO , Handset , Motorola , verizon
Motorola announced that KRZR sales would top RAZR sales within the first 120 days after the handset’s release date. This is somewhat astonishing, but not surprising considering the way any Moto RAZR inspired device will see big sales. The KRZR is a piece of work however, a lot of upgrades have been made. And this is nice step forward for RAZR fans who were sick of everyone having their exact same cell phone. So for a couple of weeks you could be the only person in your posse with a KRAZR, but that won’t last long looking at the sales charts
Major enhancements from previous RAZR model include:
- 2 megapixel camera
- External Music Display Keys
- 65K color screen
- CDMA 800/1900
- CDMA 1X/EV-DO
- Enhanced Phone book
Additional KRZR features:
- 176×220 260k TFT
- MP3 AAC MIDI Music Player
- Stereo Bluetooth
- video capture and playback MPEG4 (15 fps CIF); audio/video streaming (3GPP)
- record up to 25 minutes of video on embedded memory
Verizon Wireless was prompt on releasing the KRZR at $139, but personally I think Verizon completely ruined the phone before releasing it. The same junky V-Cast GUI and firmware, not to mention disabling bluetooth connectivity so they can squeeze extra cash from ringtones. Which is why I’m glad Sprint has their KRZR K1m on the market. Although $399 with $200 instant savings is a bit of a price-tag increase, I would still personally go that route.

lol, so honest about Verizon. I love their coverage too, but likewise I can’t stand their cheap interface.
