HTC Hermes Details of Launch with T-Mobile as MDA Vario II
 bluetooth , EDGE , GPRS , HSPDA , T-Mobile , windows-mobile
The MDA Vario II is expected to launch with T-Mobile Germany, and will be the first HSDPA hand-held in Europe. Many are familiar with this design, as it originally is the HTC Hermes with a few minor altercations. It has been stirring a lot of American interest as well, and I among others are hoping T-Mobile USA will endorse this smart phone in future quarters.
With the MDA Vario II we are offering our customers an all-rounder device for voice and data communication in combination with our mobile broadband network simultaneously in several important European markets. Whether you are on holiday or a business trip, the compact
Vario II makes communication on the go a real pleasure in every situation. In doing so, the exclusive design with red accents clearly displays to the eye the availability of HSPDA,” says Michael Hagspihl, Head of Terminal Management at T-Mobile International. As a matter of course the T-Mobile exclusive web’n'walk service is also available via the Internet browser, showing the user relevant information only in a few seconds.
MDA Vario II Specifications:

T-Mobile is doing a great job with their network, and mobile broadband is something they are progressing a great deal on. Earlier this year T-Mobile has enabled an estimated 17,000 new W-LAN locations becoming the largest provider of mobile hot-spots in the world.

I really like T-Mobile as well, but recently my service was reduced to half in a vertain area I use my phone often. I wish they would improve their low coverage areas in the U.S.
