Verizon Wireless Music Phone Samsung SCH-A930

The latest music phone to be released from Verizon Wireless is the Samsung SCH-A930. Contrary to other phone manufacturers Samsung is going a bit against the grain with this far from slim design. I find it to be one of the most refreshing phone models to be released this quarter. It has a strong industry feel, with a sharp black finish lit up with a simplistic monochrome LCD. And ofcourse since it is a new Verizon product it comes with VCAST, customers can browse, preview, download, and play high-quality digital music and video right onto the A930. The playback keys are right on the external face of the phone, so it makes for a very easy to use portable media player as well.

Recently Wal-Mart partnered with Verizon Wireless, and I had discussed with an employee yesterday the pricing, which she wouldn’t reveal. However I am expecting the Samsung SCH-A930 to be around $80 with 2-year service agreement on the Wal-Mart contract. You can get it directly from Verizon for $99 with a 2-year contract and $50 instant saving. This phone is already getting great reviews from customers, and looks to be a good handset model for Samsung to progress.
