The Sony Ericsson W70i is a unique athletic approach to handset design. One of it’s exclusive features is a motion sensor that tracks speed, distance and time. It also includes many health conscious consumer friendly applications that can help improve and track your fitness. Other standard features include;

Sony Ericsson expects to start shipping the W710i in the third quarter. It will be avaialble in either “Performance Graphite” or “Hatha Violet” very health inspiring color choices

Another Sony walkman branded phone is the W850i model (above), which is a really nifty slider camera phone. I must say one of my favorites from Sony Ericsson this third quarter has to be this handset, very innovative and sleek design. With great features such as;

• 2.0 QVGA TFT 260k
• 2 megapixel camera
• 1 GB MS PRO Duo card
• Bluetooth 2.0 (A2DP)

The W850i 3G handset will be available in black or a pearly white, and I wouldn’t be surprised if both got picked up by Cingular this third quarter.
